  • Work closely with manufacturing and operational teams to identify opportunities where technology can improve efficiency and decision‑making.
  • Partner with the organization's external IT service provider while providing internal technical guidance on systems, architecture and modernization priorities.
  • Establish scalable technology practices and standards while supporting the longer‑term development of the organization's internal IT function.
  • Support the longer‑term development of the IT function, with the opportunity to take on increased technology leadership responsibility as the organization grows.
What you must bring to this role:
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in business systems, software development, systems integration, technology consulting or digital transformation.
  • Strong hands‑on development experience using C#, .NET, Python, Java, C++ or comparable technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating ERP, CRM and other business‑critical applications, with a strong understanding of APIs, databases and data workflows.
  • Experience identifying inefficient business processes and designing technology solutions that improve how an organization operates.
  • Experience within a manufacturing, industrial or engineering environment is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Sage X3 or another manufacturing ERP is a strong asset.
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies and cloud environments; exposure to AI, automation or machine‑learning applications is an asset.
  • Ability to balance hands‑on technical execution with requirements gathering, process analysis and strategic thinking.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical teams, operational employees and senior leadership.
  • Adaptable and self‑directed, with the ability to take loosely defined business challenges and develop a path forward.
