Business Systems Manager - ERP Applications
Location: Bolton or Brampton, ON, 5 days onsite
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Our construction industry client is seeking a Business Systems Manager to lead their growing Business Systems function and drive the continued evolution of their ERP environment.
The organization is expanding its Business Systems team and is looking for an experienced ERP leader who can combine hands‑on systems expertise with team leadership, process improvement, and longer‑term strategy.
Responsibilities
- Lead a small Business Systems team responsible for the company's ERP and related business applications.
- Own ERP administration, system controls, security roles/access, troubleshooting, upgrades, and testing.
- Partner with Finance, Operations, Project Teams, and senior leadership to identify opportunities for process improvement and standardization.
- Identify opportunities to better leverage existing ERP modules, workflows, reporting, and functionality.
- Manage ERP vendor relationships and coordinate system support, enhancements, integrations, and issue resolution.
- Improve system documentation, user training, and adoption across the business.
- Establish priorities and drive continuous improvement of the organization's Business Systems environment.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive experience within ERP, Business Systems, or Enterprise Applications environments.
- Experience leading a Business Systems, ERP, or Applications function/team.
- Strong hands‑on experience with a complex ERP platform such as CMiC, NetSuite, Oracle, or similar.
- Strong understanding of ERP administration, governance, controls, security/access, workflows, and configuration.
- Demonstrated experience driving business process improvement, training, and system adoption across multiple business functions.
- Experience coordinating ERP upgrades, testing, integrations, and third-party vendors.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the confidence to work directly with senior business leaders.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- CMiC ERP experience.
- Construction, engineering, infrastructure, manufacturing, or similar industry experience.
- Experience supporting multi-company or intercompany ERP environments.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.
