Job summary

Raise is hiring a Business Systems Analyst - Intermediate in Toronto for a 6‑month hybrid engagement. Pay rate ranges from $52.43/hr to $60.60/hr, with extension potential. You will analyze data, support Capital Markets reporting, and drive BI initiatives using Alteryx and Power BI.

Primary responsibilities include data management, process automation, and collaboration with business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Data Analyst, BI Analyst, or similar role.
• Hands-on Alteryx experience for data extraction, manipulation and workflow development.
• Knowledge of Azure Databricks.
• Experience with SQL, data reporting and analytics.

Responsibilities

• As an Associate, Client Data & Process Automation, execute data management and data analysis for Client Data Strategy and Regulatory initiatives.
• Ensure data produced by Capital Markets is accurate, complete and reusable for downstream reporting including regulatory trade reporting.
• Support BI and data analytics for BAU and management decisions on operations and data management.
• Assist in process automation to transform existing processes.

Responsibilities

• As an Associate, Client Data & Process Automation, you will be responsible for executing data management and data analysis activities in support of Client Data Strategy and Regulatory initiatives


• The objective is to ensure data produced by Capital Markets business and support groups is accurate, complete and reusable to fulfill all downstream reporting purposes, including but limit to regulatory trade reporting obligations.


• The incumbent will help support all business intelligence and data analytics to support BAU and senior management decisions on its operations and data management capabilities.


• Process automation support to transform existing process will be executed through this team.

Must Have Requirement

• 3-5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar role.


• Strong hands-on experience with Alteryx for data extraction, manipulation, and workflow development.


• Knowledge of Azure Databricks


• Experience with Power BI or other BI/reporting tools (Tableau, MicroStrategy, WebFOCUS, etc.).


• Working knowledge of SQL, including queries, joins, and data analysis.


• Experience supporting data reporting, dashboard creation, and analytics initiatives.


• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to gather information from multiple data sources and develop solutions.


• Experience working directly with business stakeholders and managing internal client relationships.


• Ability to operate in a business-facing environment rather than a pure development or technology team

Nice To Have

• Exposure to Power Automate and process automation initiatives.


• Python scripting experience for reporting, analytics, or Power BI enhancements.


• Experience with data integration, API connections, and database connectivity testing.


• Capital Markets or Financial Services industry experience.


• Knowledge of client data management, regulatory reporting, AML/KYC, or trade data environments.


• Experience supporting business transformation or process improvement initiatives
