Job summary

Apptoza Inc. is seeking a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) for Banking in Toronto. The role requires 10+ years of experience in banking domains, with strong skills in requirements gathering, BRD/FRD/SRS creation, and API integration.

Hybrid work arrangement with close collaboration across business, development, and QA teams. You will analyze data flows, support UAT and defect resolutions, and help improve customer-centric banking processes.

Qualifications

• Banking domain experience across Core Banking, Payments, Deposits.
• Experience gathering and analyzing business requirements.
• Creation of BRD, FRD, SRS, user stories and process documentation.
• Experience with banking applications and systems.
• Understanding of banking products like accounts, deposits, loans, payments and cards.
• API integration requirements and interface documentation.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.
• Prepare BRD, FRD, process flows, use cases, and user stories.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to deliver banking solutions.
• Analyze system integrations, APIs, and data flows between applications.
• Support testing activities including SIT, UAT, and defect resolution.
• Perform gap analysis between current and future-state processes.
• Collaborate with business teams to improve banking processes and customer experience.
• Support implementation and enhancement of banking applications.
• Provide documentation, reporting, and status updates to project stakeholders.

Required Skills:

• Banking domain experience (Core Banking / Payments / Deposits)
• Business Requirements Gathering and Analysis
• BRD, FRD, SRS, User Stories, Process Documentation
• Experience working with banking applications and systems
• Understanding of banking products (Accounts, Deposits, Loans, Payments, Cards)
• API integration requirements and interface documentation
• Data analysis and requirement refinement
• UAT planning, test case preparation, and defect management
• Experience working with business users, developers, QA, and technical teams
• Strong documentation and communication skills

Responsibilities:
