$79,205 to $91,331 annually. Salary scale and wage increments are in accordance with the Collective Agreement.

WHAT IT TAKES

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computing Science, Management Information Systems, or an equivalent IT Program from a recognized post-secondary educational institution, complemented by at least three years' relevant experience in programming and analysis using structured programming techniques, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrated by the ability to develop, establish, and maintain effective working relationships with administrators, faculty, and staff.
• Supervisory skills and strong organizational skills; ability to plan and schedule work; experience in recruitment, training and motivating employees; ability to work in an ever-changing environment.
• Ability to take direction, learn new approaches, work under pressure, and resolve conflicts.
• Decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Quick learner of applications and industry knowledge.

Proven experience in:

• Project management, and facilitation in a leadership role (formal or informal).
• Creating use cases, data models, and other skills to get information from the users.
• Several programming and scripting languages; specifically SQL , PL/ SQL , Java.
• Administration and Management of Enterprise Systems; specifically Salesforce, TargetX and Informatica.
• Programming in Salesforce and TargetX, and development of data mapping in Informatica.
• System configuration of SSO with Assure, JDBC and Linux.
• Change management, version control (experience with GIT an asset).

Demonstrated ability to:

• Work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Maintain documentation and operational procedures.

Requires:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills and professionalism.
• Strong technical background and commitment to continuous learning.
• Proven record of ongoing training and certification in programming tools, business functions, and emerging technologies.

Additional Information
This regular full-time (35 hours per week) position is available starting July 2nd, 2025. Regular hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm. Shift days and times may change depending on the Department's need. Occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required The position is located at the New Westminster campus; however, successful candidate must be available for occasional work at the Coquitlam campus. Douglas College is committed to supporting a healthy work/life balance for employees. A modified/flexible schedule and/or hybrid work from home arrangement may be considered, subject to the terms of the College's Work From Home Policy.
