Job summary

Altis Technology is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join a large enterprise delivery effort. The role focuses on gathering and documenting requirements, creating process artifacts, and translating business needs into effective technical specifications while supporting data mapping and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst experience within large enterprise or consulting environments.
• Experience in requirements analysis, business process mapping, documentation, and stakeholder management.
• Experience creating process maps, workflow diagrams, RACI documentation, and data mapping.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, validate, and document business and functional requirements.
• Facilitate discovery workshops and interviews to ensure business needs are understood.
• Create BRDs, process maps, user stories, workflow diagrams, use cases, and RACI matrices for project delivery.
• Translate business needs into solution requirements with data mapping and process improvements.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities while managing multiple deliverables.

Job description

Location: Vaughan, ON, Hybrid (primarily remote with onsite collaboration approximately twice per month)
Language: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are required. Strong presentation and stakeholder communication abilities are essential.

Your Responsibilities
You'll partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, validate, and document business and functional requirements
You'll facilitate discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews, and solution walkthroughs to ensure business needs are clearly understood
You'll create business requirements documents, process maps, user stories, workflow diagrams, use cases, and RACI matrices that support successful project delivery
You'll collaborate with technical teams to translate business needs into effective solution requirements while supporting data mapping and process improvement initiatives
You’ll identify project risks, dependencies, and opportunities while managing multiple concurrent deliverables
You’ll support implementation activities, user acceptance testing, and user adoption to help ensure successful project outcomes

Skills and Qualifications
5+ years of progressive Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst experience within large enterprise or consulting environments
Demonstrated expertise in requirements analysis, business process mapping, documentation, and stakeholder management
Experience creating process maps, workflow diagrams, RACI documentation, and performing business data mapping and data flow analysis
Proven ability to manage multiple projects while building effective relationships with business and technical stakeholders
Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), process improvement initiatives, and project delivery activities
Proficiency with tools such as Visio, Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms, with exposure to Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies considered an asset
CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or a related certification is considered an asset, as is experience supporting Audit, Tax, Finance, Internal IT, or other corporate functions
