Business Systems Analyst

Location: New Brunswick (NB), 200 Somerset St., New Brunswick, NJ 08901

Job Overview:

Responsible for independently designing and building reports that lead to increased efficiencies in delivery of care as well as improvements in the quality of the care we deliver.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma
  • Knowledge of various computer software packages essential

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, Computer Sciences, or Business from an accredited 4-year university.
  • Prior experience with Visual Basic and other SAS platforms
  • Experience in writing business and IT specifications
  • Proficient in data analysis, querying databases, and SQL query tools
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, pivot charts, Power Pivots, and Power Queries
  • Understanding of best practices for working with large data sets in Excel
  • Intermediate knowledge of Tableau or other BI reporting software

  • N/A

Essential Functions:

  • Lead users in defining processes and recommending data management and visualization solutions
  • Serve as liaison between users and the Strategic Improvement Department
  • Gather and document requirements and business processes related to reports and data
  • Maintain reports and troubleshoot as needed
  • Oversee reports distributed to key stakeholders
  • Develop project work plans and document workflows
  • Create training materials and conduct end-user training
  • Analyze alternatives, make recommendations, and perform data mapping
