Job summary

Dawn InfoTek Inc. is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our client’s team for a 6-month contract with potential extension. The role focuses on credit card/online banking applications within a major bank, bridging business needs with IT delivery.

You will gather requirements in design sessions, participate in daily agile ceremonies, and document artifacts in JIRA and Confluence. Strong stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and experience with agile banking projects are essential

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Business Analysis experience, preferably within FI/banking.
• 2+ years previous experience with bank online banking/credit cards application
• 3+ years’ experience within an Agile environment using JIRA/Confluence

Responsibilities

• Requirements gathering by joining application design solutioning sessions with our architecture, development,
• Join daily agile meetings to work with product owner, the POD team members
• Facilitate gathering and design sessions with multiple stakeholders to extract requirements, and turn them into use cases, user stories, sequence diagrams, etc. to meet development and stakeholder needs.
• Bridge the gap between business and IT, ensuring common understanding and IT/Business alignment of both functional (for business needs) and non-functional requirements (such as reporting, performance, interfaces, and constraints.)
• Document in JIRA and Confluence.
• And work with Dev's for clarification
• Extensive Agile delivery experience
• Experience working side-by-side with Product Owners
• Experience with running/ hosting agile ceremonies, as needed
• Strong stakeholder management experience, liaising with various stakeholders to support requirements gathering/finalization

We are currently seeking competent individuals to fulfill the role ofBusiness Systems Analystto join our dynamic team for our client, one of themajor banks.

Contract duration:6 months with potential extension

Hybrid: 2 days a week in office located in down town Toronto

Key Responsibilities:
