Job summary

Dawn InfoTek Inc. is seeking a skilled Business System Analyst to join our team supporting a major bank. The role focuses on requirements gathering, use-case development, and alignment between business needs and IT solutions.

You will work in an Agile environment, documenting in JIRA/Confluence and coordinating with architecture, development, and product teams to ensure successful delivery. A strong banking domain background is preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience with 3+ years as a BSA, preferably in FI/banking.
• 2+ years' experience with bank online banking applications.
• 3+ years' experience in API applications and data mapping (JSON, XML).
• 3+ years' experience in Agile environments using JIRA/Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements by joining application design solutioning sessions with architecture and development teams.
• Participate in daily agile meetings with product owner and POD team members.
• Facilitate sessions with multiple stakeholders to extract requirements and turn them into use cases, user stories, and sequence diagrams.
• Bridge the gap between business and IT to ensure mutual understanding of functional and non‑functional requirements (reporting, performance, interfaces, constraints).
• Document requirements and progress in JIRA and Confluence; collaborate with developers for clarification.

Business System Analyst

We are currently seeking competent individuals to fulfill the role ofBusiness System Analystto join our dynamic team for our client, one of themajor banks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirements gathering by joining application design solutioning sessions with our architecture, development,
• Join daily agile meetings to work with product owner, the POD team members
• Facilitate gathering and design sessions with multiple stakeholders to extract requirements, and turn them into use cases, user stories, sequence diagrams, etc. to meet development and stakeholder needs.
• Bridge the gap between business and IT, ensuring common understanding and IT/Business alignment of both functional (for business needs) and non-functional requirements (such as

reporting, performance, interfaces, and constraints.)

• Document in JIRA and Confluence.
• And work with Dev's forclarification

Required Skills:

1) 7+ years of relevant working experience, with 3+ years of BSA experience, preferably within FI/banking
2) 2+ years previous experience with bank online banking application

3) 3+ years’ experience in API applications and documentation (JASON, XML) for data mapping.
4) 3+ years’ experience within an Agile environment using JIRA/Confluence

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field preferred
