Job summary

Canada Life in Montreal, QC is seeking a Business Solutions Developer to design, develop, and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate and build custom business apps with Power Apps. Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience developing solutions with Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps)
• Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook)
• Experience with Dataverse, connectors, and data integration
• Experience with database systems (e.g. DB2) and data access methods (e.g. SQL, ETL, API)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness of work to maximize quality and avoid re-work
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is an asset
• Microsoft Power Platform certifications
• Experience with governance and security best practices in Power Platform
• Exposure to cloud environments such as Azure
• A strong desire to learn and apply new technologies within the Power Platform ecosystem
• The ability to contribute to the success of the Automated Solutions team through influence, collaboration, and accountability
• A passion for improving business processes through automation and innovation
• As this position is posted in several locations, bilingualism is an asset (French and English) but is required for Quebec only as the position will regularly serve our clients with French and English speaking needs
• Reliability Status Security Clearance– this can only be completed with candidates who receive an offer of employment. As a Business Solutions Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Automate and Power Apps.

The base salary for this position is between $62,800 - $104,700 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
