Base pay range

$95,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr

Title: Business Services Talent Manager

Location: Louisville, KY

Work Type: Full Time Onsite

The Business Services Manager will ensure the smooth operation of Business Services functions, processes, and procedures by providing daily, multi-level support primarily to the Office Managing Partners in our Louisville and Lexington offices. The Business Services Manager will assist with employee relations, recruitment and onboarding, business services meetings, events and awards, and will play a large and distinct role in fostering a strong company culture. The Business Services Manager will also work in unison with the Business Services Manager for our other offices in Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Evansville, Jasper, and Portland (Maine).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact in the Louisville and Lexington offices for Partner and employee issues and inquiries, providing information and assistance as needed. Serve as a backup and secondary point of contact in the Firm’s other offices in Cincinnati, Evansville, Indianapolis, Jasper, and Portland (Maine).
  • Assist with the recruitment process including posting job openings, screening, and tracking resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires including logistics, set-up, and schedule coordination.
  • Facilitate communication between Firm leadership and ensure important updates are shared.
  • Assist with staffing assignments and coverage, PTO inquiries, checking/approving timecards, and other general HRIS support.
  • Plan and coordinate Business Services meetings, such as LAA Connect, LAA Learn and Quarterly Connect.
  • Assist with emergency response plans and procedures.
  • Routine communication with staff to discuss needs, issues, questions, ideas, etc.
  • Assist with the Annual Review process.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while fostering a strong company culture.
  • Plan and coordinate events such as birthday celebrations, milestone anniversaries, and Administrative Professionals Day.
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to advance and promote a culture of excellence.
  • Other responsibilities and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources, or relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Services or Human Resources, preferably in a Law Firm or corporate environment.

  • Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), such as ADP, preferred

Compensation:

$95,000 to $105,000 per year annual salary. [If client has provided an exact salary, then no need to use a range; also, if the client has provided an hourly rate, then use same hourly language from the Contract/Contract-to-Hire section above.]

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
