Desjardins is seeking a senior systems and infrastructure operations, maintenance and development advisor to design, configure, administer, maintain and upgrade computer networks, management systems and database servers.

You will lead and influence practitioners on strategic initiatives spanning multiple sectors, developing directions and plans while interacting with senior management and external partners.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum eight years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of French is required.

As a senior systems and infrastructure operations, maintenance and development advisor, you support IT efficiency by designing, configuring, administering, maintaining and upgrading computer networks, management systems and database servers in accordance with the organization’s needs. You lead and influence practitioners on business relations, development projects and complex, highly innovative strategic initiatives involving multiple sectors. You help develop and recommend strategic directions and business positions. Your initiatives require extensive knowledge of your field. You make recommendations on the planning and execution of operationally and conceptually complex projects and initiatives that require comprehensive analysis and understanding of the organization and line of business. Coordination is critical, so you interact with stakeholders working in a wide range of other fields. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential. You serve as expert advisor and subject matter expert for IT infrastructure operations and other matters, as well as resource person and coach for senior management and decision‑making bodies. More specifically, you will be required to :

• Lead specialized development projects, initiatives and activities that significantly impact the entire organization
