Position Summary

Thales requires a Business Process Automation Team Lead to manage a small team of Business Process Automation specialists and personally participate in the hands-on implementation, integration, and troubleshooting / testing of Business Process Automation flows / processes including web service invocations, embedded scripts, and user interactions. As a Business Process Automation Team Lead, you will work with end users and other stakeholders to define and refine the applicable Business Processes prior to implementation and follow-up with them post-implementation to confirm that what has been implemented meets the need in practical use. The successful candidate may also participate in web application development including software design, implementation, integration, testing, configuration, and documentation.

Key Areas of Responsibility

The successful candidate will :

  • Implement, integrate, and troubleshoot / test Business Process Automation (BPA) flows / processes including web service invocations, embedded scripts, and user interactions
  • Automate Business Processes, engaging with relevant stakeholders to ensure the defined processes meet the need;
  • Lead a team of BPA specialists providing direct oversight of their work; and
  • Champion digital transformation and automation within In-Service Support projects.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or equivalent education with relevant experience
  • Software Development and Business Process Automation experience : 10 years, including (the following items are not exclusive of each other) :

Experience leading a team of software developers or BPA specialists : 2 years;

  • Experience automating and analyzing business processes : 2 years;
  • Experience developing Web Services : 7 years, including :
  • Back-end web app software development with Java web services;
  • Experience defining software requirements, user stories, and / or GUI UX design based on stakeholder needs.
