Job summary

Cohere is seeking a BizOps Lead to join the Strategy & Business Operations team, reporting to the Head of BizOps. You will focus on strategy, corporate development, pricing optimization, and cross-Functional initiatives across product, GTM, research and engineering.

You will build financial models, analyze opportunities, and drive consensus among leaders to advance key priorities. The role entails market analysis, fundraising support, and strategic partnerships within a globally dispersed,

Qualifications

• Clear communicator with ownership mentality and bias to action.
• Technical background in CS/EE/Applied Math or related field; or 2–3 years of top-tier consulting in software/tech.
• 3–4 years of top-tier investment banking/investing experience, ideally in software/tech.

Responsibilities

• Influence strategic decision-making by collaborating with leaders across the organization.
• Optimize pricing and packaging to balance customer value and profitability.
• Build financial models to evaluate opportunities and guide investments.
• Contribute to corporate development activities: fundraising, partnerships, M&A, investor relations.

• The Strategy & Business Operations team’s mission is to support decision making on critical C-level topics and act as a force-multiplier for functional priorities across the organization
• We are looking for a BizOps Lead to join the team, reporting to the Head of BizOps, focused on strategy, corporate development, and cross-functional projects
• Influence strategic decision-making by collaborating with and building consensus among leaders across the organization, including product, GTM, and research and engineering
• Optimize pricing and packaging, ensuring that the company’s offerings are both attractive to customers and profitable
• Build financial models and analyses to evaluate new and existing opportunities
• Contribute to corporate development activities: fundraising, strategic partnerships, investor relations, M&A, etc
• Conduct market and competitive analysis to anticipate and respond to emerging trends and to identify new opportunities for innovation and growth
