Job summary

New Value Solutions is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to support our client's IT Data Analytics team in designing, developing, and delivering modern BI, enterprise data warehouse, and analytics solutions. The role involves Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, SQL Server, SSIS, and Power BI to translate business requirements into technical specifications and build end-to-end data integration.

The successful candidate will work on cloud-based analytics as well as an on-premise data warehouse

Qualifications

• Extensive BI and analytics development experience using Microsoft Fabric.

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to support our client’s IT Data Analytics team in the design, development, and delivery of modern business intelligence, enterprise data warehouse, and analytics solutions.

The successful candidate will work across Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, SQL Server, SSIS, and Power BI, translating business requirements into technical specifications and building end-to-end data integration and analytics solutions. This role will involve modern cloud-based analytics as well as an existing on-premise data warehouse environment and will work closely with internal corporate stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Mandatory Requirements

• Extensive business intelligence and analytics development experience using Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong experience architecting and delivering Business Intelligence and/or Enterprise Data Warehouse (BI/EDW) solutions.
• Experience designing and implementing reusable frameworks for on-premise data warehouse environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and design considerations for data storage and processing.

This role requires a hybrid arrangement in the Metro Vancouver area.
