Business Intelligence Analyst – Finance, Corporate Solutions

You’ll report to the Product Manager, Corporate IT Solutions, and play a key role in helping the organization get more value from its data. Your mission will be to turn data into strategic insights that empower business teams to make informed, fact-based decisions. You’ll design, enhance and optimize the BI ecosystem, including the data warehouse, analytical models, dashboards and the foundations of the organization’s AI strategy.
You’ll serve as a bridge between technical teams and business units, helping stakeholders identify needs, define key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement tailored analytics solutions. You’ll also actively contribute to data governance, information integrity, the organization’s AI journey and the promotion of a data-driven corporate culture.
You’ll work closely with the Finance and Accounting group, business stakeholders across the organization (Sales, Project Management, HR), your team members and other IT groups, including development, infrastructure and the service centre.

- Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports with Power BI and SAP Business Objects
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate data analysis, identify trends and generate relevant business recommendations
- Develop and test data integration solutions
- Perform technical analyses and estimate the effort required based on business needs
- Adhere to processes to minimize data quality risks and proactively identify potential data issues
- Design, maintain and optimize BI environments and models
- Contribute to solution architecture and detailed design
- Modify and support existing applications
- Define roles and responsibilities for data ownership and management
- Identify and recommend opportunities to improve systems
- Perform unit and integration tests
- Lead business process modelling workshops

Summaryof certifications and job requirements
- University degree in computer science, statistics, engineering or a related field
- At least five years of business intelligence experience applied to finance
- Proficient with finance and accounting business processes and a solid understanding of HR, sales and project management business processes
- Excellent command of SQL and PowerBI
- Experience defining and implementing AI use cases
- Proficient with data warehousing and modelling principles
- Experience with Snowflake
- Participation in major transformation projects in agile mode
- Advanced English skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in English-speaking Canadian provinces and internationally; you may need to use English occasionally or daily, depending on current projects
- Advanced French skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in Québec
- Asset: experience in a services firm
- Asset: knowledge of Maconomy (Deltek) and SAP Business Objects
- Asset: experience with Azure DevOps
