Job summary

BBA Consultants seeks a senior procurement advisor to guide major projects globally. You will lead end-to-end procurement, shape strategies, manage risks, and coordinate with clients and multidisciplinary teams in an international setting.

Responsibilities include supplier negotiations, RFP oversight, contract management, and continuous improvement of procurement processes across regions and projects.

Qualifications

  • Relevant university or technical education (engineering, administration, logistics or supply chain)
  • At least 15 years of relevant experience in project procurement
  • Experience in heavy industry, mining and metals and/or energy sectors
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Advanced English skills to collaborate with other BBA offices and clients in English-speaking Canadian provinces and internationally
  • Advanced French skills to collaborate with other BBA offices and clients in Québec
  • Asset: experience with international project procurement
  • Asset: experience with logistics and transportation

  • Ensure compliance, traceability and quality of contractual documents
  • Support, guide and coach team members in resolving complex challenges
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of practices and systems
  • Oversee requests for proposals, commercial evaluations and contract negotiations
  • Manage strategic and critical supplier relationships
  • Prepare award recommendations and obtain required approvals
  • Support project teams with supplier and contractual issues
  • Help manage claims and contractual disputes
