Job description

Our client in Regina, SK is seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst for an initial 8-month contract ending March 31, 2026 (reference SX7166), with potential for renewal. This is an onsite position, requiring the candidate to reside in or be willing to relocate to Regina.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 10 years of recent experience in modern data management principles within a BI or similar role.
• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Sciences, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying, scripting, and optimization.
• Experience with Power BI Service and cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure and DataBricks.
• Knowledge of Lakehouse architecture and Delta format.
• Ability to work full-time onsite in Regina, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement data management solutions to support digital transformation and operational excellence.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries and reports.
• Leverage Power BI, Power Query, DAX, and other BI tools to create tailored reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with business units to understand needs and deliver effective solutions.
• Manage data architecture, oversee data integration, and ensure data security and compliance.
• Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.
