Position Overview:

We are seeking a results-driven Business Intelligence Analyst to join our dynamic finance team during an exciting period of transformation. Based in Mississauga, ON, this pivotal role will support the organization’s transition to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and play a key part in automating financial reporting, ensuring SOX compliance, and enhancing operational visibility through data-driven insights.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in SAC with a solid foundation in financial reporting and analysis, particularly within a manufacturing or industrial environment. This role requires someone who can partner closely with Finance, IT, and Operations to streamline processes, implement reporting tools, and support ongoing business intelligence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) reports and dashboards that support financial and operational decision-making across the organization.
• Champion the migration of financial and operational reporting from SAP BPC to SAC, ensuring alignment with the company’s new reporting structure
• Build automation into reporting flows to improve accuracy, reduce manual effort, and enhance timeliness of insights for FP&A activities.
• Serve as the go-to expert for SAC within the local business unit, supporting training initiatives and upskilling non-technical finance users.
• Liaise between Finance, IT (especially the North American development team), and Business Units to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure that financial reporting processes meet SOX and audit requirements, supporting month-end close activities and variance analysis.
• Create and enhance reports that track critical KPIs such as forecasting vs. actuals, downtime, production efficiency, and CAPEX spend at the site level.
• Translate complex technical capabilities of SAC into business-friendly insights that support strategic planning and decision-making.
• Explore and implement modern analytics tools and AI-enhanced reporting features that align with business goals and improve reporting sophistication.
• Maintain robust data validation practices, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure data reliability across financial and operational reports.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of progressive SAC experience
• Degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related field
• Familiarity with SAC, Power BI, SAP BPC, and advanced MS Excel
• Understanding of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow), variance analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and the FP&A cycle.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication and reporting skills.

What We Offer:

• Competitive salary range: $90,000 to $105,000/year, based on experience.
• Bonus upto 20%
• Regular hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
