The Ministry of Health works to ensure Albertans receive the right health care services, at the right time, in the right place, provided by the right health care providers and teams. The Procurement & System Optimization Secretariat focuses on procurement efficiencies and system optimization as part of health care refocusing.
The Business Intelligence Analyst plays a crucial role in the division by leading projects, understanding requirements, analyzing, and transforming raw data into meaningful insights, thereby helping the division make informed decisions and increasing efficiencies throughout a large and diverse cross-functional area.
Focusing on report design and visualization coupled with extensive experience in statistics and data analysis, the Business Intelligence Analyst will show their expertise in the business of supply chain and finance and help push large initiatives. They will also support the development of business intelligence systems to store reporting data through their familiarity with business analysis and data warehousing concepts and tools.

Qualifications
University Degree in Business with specialization in Supply Chain Management, Materials, Computer Sciences, or related discipline supplemented by two years related experience. Related experience or education may be considered as an equivalency on a one-for-one basis.
