Job summary

Bradken Ltd. is seeking a Business Development Specialist to expand its presence in the Canadian mining market. The role offers a fully remote work arrangement within Canada with substantial travel to customer sites and mining operations.

You will leverage an established mining network, manage key accounts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver value-driven wear solutions, mill liners, and fixed plant products.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience in technical sales within the mining industry.
• Established network within mining sector or EPCM/OEMs.
• Willingness to travel 50–60% across Canada.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow Bradken’s Canadian mining accounts and opportunities.
• Identify and close new business opportunities with mines and EPCs.
• Collaborate with operations, reliability, engineering and procurement teams to deliver value.
• Travel to customer sites across Canada to sustain relationships and win work.

About The Role

• Fixed Plant Solutions

You will work closely with operations, maintenance, reliability, engineering, and procurement stakeholders to understand customer challenges and deliver value-driven solutions.

Important Considerations

To be successful in this role, candidates should be comfortable with:

• Approximately 50-60% travel across Canada, including regular visits to mining operations and customer sites.
• A field-based sales environment requiring frequent travel and territory coverage.
• Building new business opportunities while also developing long-term customer relationships with existing partners and network in mining and related heavy industries.
• Working independently in a remote environment while collaborating with internal stakeholders across multiple regions.

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in technical sales, business development, or account management within the mining industry.
• Knowledge of Fixed Plant, Mill Liners, Wear Solutions, Grinding Circuit Equipment, or related mining products.
• An established network and existing relationships within mining companies, EPCM organisations, OEMs, engineering consultancies, or related industries.
• Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships and identify growth opportunities.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using Salesforce CRM is advantageous but not required.

This position is open to be fully remote in anywhere within Canada (Preferred Quebec, Edmonton and Toronto) While a "remote" position, it will require substantial travel to mining locations.
