As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a talented Business Development Specialist to join our team and drive our expansion.

Job Description:

We are seeking an ambitious and results-oriented Business Development Specialist to lead client acquisition efforts and drive new business growth for Pillar Digital. The ideal candidate is someone who has a deep understanding in digital marketing, excels at identifying opportunities, building strong relationships, and closing high ticket deals with clients in various industries. You will work closely with our leadership team to shape and execute our sales strategy, ensuring consistent revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute comprehensive business development strategy to drive new client acquisition.
  • Identify and qualify leads through various channels, including networking, outbound campaigns, digital campaigns, and referrals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and presenting our tailored marketing solutions.
  • Collaborate with our marketing and operations teams to ensure a smooth handoff of clients and effective delivery of services.
  • Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring alignment with the client’s goals and Pillar Digital’s offerings.
  • Track and report on key metrics, including lead generation, sales pipeline, and conversion rates.
  • Stay up to date with digital marketing insights, industry trends and best practices to continually refine and improve the agency business development process.
  • Represent Pillar Digital at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand our presence and build partnerships.
  • Create and implement effective cold email campaigns, outreach strategies, and cold approaches to engage potential clients.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (2+ years) in business development, sales & marketing, or account management preferably within the digital marketing or advertising industry.
  • Experience with constructing cold email campaigns, cold outreach, and developing sales plans to target and convert potential clients.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing services (SEO, Google Ads, video content marketing, social media, etc.) and how they address client needs.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales management software (e.g. Hubspot, Linkedin Sales Navigator).
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
