Job description

Founded in 1966, Manac is the largest manufacturer of customized semi-trailers in North America. Our success is based on the innovation, quality and durability of our products, thanks to the expertise and creativity of over 1,500 team members committed to our mission in Canada and the United States.

We are looking for a Business Development Representative to prospect and develop clientele for our after-sales services offered at our Canadian branches. Reporting to the Vice President, Parts and Service Network, the representative will play a key role in the growth plan for this sector at Manac.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish the commercial and marketing strategy
  • Develop the customer base for the P&S Network across Canada
  • Prospect, visit and develop the territory (email, phone, cold call, events)
  • Deploy the sales structure and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Identify new business opportunities and growth potential
  • Foster and maintain impactful and positive customer relationships

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

  • Proactive, dedicated and driven
  • Results-oriented
  • Courteous and interpersonal skills, professionalism
  • Autonomy, excellent ability to manage priorities
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Semi-trailers knowledge is an asset

SCHEDULE AND LOCATION:

  • Full-time, 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday
  • This position requires frequent interprovincial travel
  • Location: Montreal or Toronto
