Position Overview
We are seeking a part-time (up to 21 hours per week) Business Development, Marketing and Events Coordinator to join our dynamic team and to support our growth through strategic content creation and promotion, event planning, lead generation and digital engagement.
In this exciting new role, the Business Development, Marketing and Events Coordinator will be instrumental in driving growth by enhancing Perry Group’s online presence, engaging prospective clients, and driving the success of our business development and marketing initiatives. This individual will manage business development activities, content creation, execute digital campaigns, organize webinars and events, promote our self-assessment tools and help us to build meaningful connections with our target audience.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Work with the Management Team to lead business development activities including conducting market research, promoting existing products and services, generation of new leads, and the identification of new business opportunities.
- Work with the Management Team to develop and execute plans to drive growth and new customer acquisition.
- Proactively build relationships with potential clients and partners.
- Track and report on sales metrics, including lead and conversion rates, pipeline growth, and revenue forecasts.
- Stay up to date and connected to the industry, anticipating trends, market changes, and solutions and services that we can offer.
Content Development
- Create and maintain engaging web content, including landing pages, blog posts, articles, and case studies.
- Prepare articles, stories, and client success narratives to showcase Perry Group’s expertise.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to craft compelling materials that align with our brand voice.
LinkedIn and other Social Media Management and Promotion
- Develop and execute a content calendar for Perry Group’s LinkedIn profile and other social media.
- Plan and run targeted LinkedIn and other social media campaigns to boost visibility and engagement.
- Monitor and report on analytics to optimize posts and ads for better performance.
Webinar Planning and Management
- Develop marketing strategies to attract prospective clients to webinars.
- Work with Management Team and Senior Consultants to coordinate, manage setup and logistics, and promote webinars, including creating event pages, managing invitations, and ensuring strong attendance and client experience.
- Follow up with webinar attendees to secure follow up meetings, initiate conversations, build client relationships, and help turn leads into sales.
Promotion of Tools and Resources
- Develop and implement campaigns to promote Perry Group’s online tools and resources, including self-assessment tools for digital maturity, business continuity maturity, and technology management maturity, and others.
- Track and report on the performance of these tools to refine outreach strategies.
Collaboration and Reporting
- Work closely with the Management Team to align marketing efforts with business goals.
- Identify and develop suitable targets, reporting measures and tracking mechanisms.
- Report regularly on campaign performance, lead generation, and overall marketing impact.
Qualifications and Capabilities
- Proven experience in marketing, content creation, and online event coordination (2+ years preferred).
- Strong writing skills with the ability to create professional and engaging content.
- Experience managing LinkedIn profiles and campaigns, including analytics and paid promotions.
- Familiarity with webinar platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams etc) and online event management.
- Strong experience identifying performance measures for marketing and outreach, developing mechanisms for tracking and reporting on performance and adapting plans based on results.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written.
- Demonstrated experience in generating leads, follow-up and building marketing plans based on client needs and demographics.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Collaborative team player, takes initiative and effectively manages their time.
- Experience working in the public sector, particularly municipalities, is highly desirable.
