Work Where You Love to Play! Cypress Mountain is looking for an enthusiastic and creative Events Coordinator to join our Sales & Marketing team. We are seeking a person who is passionate about creating unforgettable experiences in a dynamic, fast-paced mountain environment. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of planning and executing on-mountain and community events that elevate the guest experience. From live entertainment to partner activations, you’ll bring energy and innovation to every event you touch.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (included but not limited to the following):
• Event Planning, Execution & Guest Experience
o Lead the ideation, planning, and execution of on-mountain and community events.
o Seek unique and engaging event opportunities that align with Cypress Mountain’s brand.
o Coordinate logistics, entertainment, and vendor activations to ensure seamless event delivery.
o Bring fresh ideas to the table and execute them with excellence.
o Be on-site during events to manage operations and vendor relations.
• Vendor & Entertainment Management
o Source, book, and manage relationships with performers, entertainers, and vendors.
o Serve as the primary point of contact for all event-related partners before and during events.
• Content & Promotion
o Coordinate the capture of high-quality photo and video content for marketing use.
o Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events across social media and web platforms.
• Team Collaboration & Support
o Assist with other Sales & Marketing initiatives as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES
• 2 or more years of experience in event coordination.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, lifting, and other forms of manual tasks.
• Experience working with vendors, performers, and external partners.
• Self-starter with a creative mindset and a passion for guest experience.
• Ability to ski or snowboard intermediate runs.
• Flexible availability. This may include a variety of start times, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays—especially during peak operating months in summer and winter.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
• Must be able to legally work in Canada.
• Valid driver’s license.
• A reliable/insured vehicle with winter tires to get to/from work (shift start/end times are outside shuttle bus hours and no shuttle bus in the off season).
WAGE/BENEFITS:
• Wage: $28/hour
