Position Overview:

The Microsoft Solutions Business within Compugen is searching for an exceptional Sales Professional to further accelerate our Microsoft business growth by selling Professional Service and Managed Services along with consumption of Microsoft products through the CSP model. The successful candidate enjoys developing new business opportunities and is motivated by the challenges and excitement of establishing and growing new customer relationships while collaborating and communicating within a matrixed sales and customer management environment. You have a strong work ethic, are determined and focused. You have a positive, “can-do” attitude and believe in collaboration and teamwork as the best way to do business. You have a strong desire to win under intense competitive pressures and have demonstrated exceptional sales results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales representative for Compugen’s Microsoft Solutions Business engaging with internal account teams, existing customer’s senior level relationships (C-level, Director, VP), while driving new Microsoft focused client opportunities.
  • Owning the sales process, from establishing executive relationships to effectively challenging and closing opportunities centered on customer-centric value-added Professional Services and Managed Services, while promoting and leveraging associated Microsoft CSP product licensing.
  • Partner with clients to discover and understand desired business outcomes translating information and strategy to account managers and solution specialists to build relevant and compelling proposals.
  • Build a strong value-add and collaborative relationship with Microsoft account teams, solution specialists, and channel managers.
  • Professionally and effectively communicate Compugen’s solutions to existing customers and new prospects through presentations, written proposals, RFP responses and regular business correspondence.
  • Build, expand, and execute on business and customer account plans creating compelling business outcome solutions.
  • Constantly refresh insight, knowledge and understanding of technology, industry, solutions, and strategies.
  • Identify and reach decision makers and key influencers building the relationship and business plan allowing them to take action.
  • Investigates, researches, and seeks information that will lead to a successful sales strategy that creates a selling advantage for targeted opportunities.
  • Effective questioning, probing, and listening that informs and aligns to mutual actions and activities leading to a successful sales cycle and customer experience.
  • Collaboration and teamwork in the execution of all assignments, roles, and responsibilities.


Sales Targets:

  • Exceed required sales and activity targets in both Microsoft professional services and software categories.
  • Meet and exceed pipeline generation targets including calls, in-person client sales meetings, and proposals.
  • Grow Compugen market share in Microsoft services.
  • Create, advance and close new opportunities with existing and target clients.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5 to 10+ Technology Sales Professional experience with strong track record of sales performance in IT Services
  • 3+ years selling Microsoft related Professional Services and Software Solutions
  • A proven track record of establishing executive contacts (“C”, VP and Director-level) and relationships from prior roles with references therefrom are a definite asset
  • Lifelong learner to stay updated on new technology and Compugen's products and services to provide expert guidance to clients
  • Experience with governance and account strategy execution
  • Strong business acumen including written and verbal communication skills
  • Capability to think and plan both tactically and strategically
  • Demonstrate exceptional teamwork in all activities and work effectively with Compugen's sales, administrative, and technical teams
  • Impeccable references from relevant source
