About the Job

We’re looking for a strategic and customer-focused Business Development Manager to help drive GBM’s growth in North America. In this role, you’ll manage and expand both existing and dormant client accounts, identify new business opportunities, and lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing. You’ll serve as the key liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring exceptional service and long-term satisfaction. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role ideal for someone who is proactive, goal-driven, and entrepreneurial in mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across assigned accounts.
  • Re-engage dormant clients and expand opportunities within existing customer portfolios.
  • Maintain close relationships with past clients to drive retention, referrals, and inbound opportunities.
  • Collaborate across internal teams and PSA Group companies to align client needs with tailored solutions.
  • Manage leads and opportunities through the entire sales pipeline — from initial outreach to follow-up.
  • Identify and develop new and existing referral sources to build strong, successful pipelines.
  • Participate in pipeline reviews and maintain accurate, updated sales development records.
  • Actively generate and qualify leads through strategic sales strategies tailored to target industries.
  • Achieve defined revenue and account growth goals in alignment with business objectives.
  • Stay informed on GBM’s solutions and market positioning through continuous training.
  • Represent GBM in meetings, industry events, and collaboration activities across global teams.
  • Ensure all business development activities comply with company policies and regional regulations.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Business Development, Sales or Account Management experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as customer quotes / contracts, marketing materials, and customer testing specifications
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively.
  • Ability to solve practical customer problems and interpret a variety of instructions, data and details furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel)
  • Availability, flexibility, and maturity to represent the company at a broad range of events / projects in the community, with customers and within the company.
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills to meet a variety of communication needs.
  • Good interpersonal skills that foster open upward and downward communication built on mutual respect
