Job summary

Impact Sales and Marketing Inc. is looking for a Business Development Manager in Vancouver. The successful candidate will manage and expand accounts in Western Canada, prepare business plans, and ensure the growth of the organization within the Consumer Packaged Goods industry. Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of Account Management experience in a CPG environment preferred.
  • Experience with OTC category is an asset.
  • Ability to cultivate strong business relationships.

Employment Posting - Business Development Manager : VANCOUVER

Impact Sales and Marketing Inc. is a Canadian-owned sales organization specializing in the Consumer Packaged Goods Industry. Reporting to the Vice President, the Business Development Manager plays a vital role within our organization. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing and expanding our business within our Western Canadian account base. This role is preferably home-based in Vancouver.

Responsibilities Include :

  1. Lead the management and growth of accounts within the Western Canadian region
  2. Prepare and execute business plans
  3. Build and achieve short, mid, and long-term strategic plans while meeting targets and objectives
  4. Identify and present new opportunities to secure results
  5. Provide and communicate accurate sales forecasts
  6. Prepare and present key account business reviews to all levels of account management
  7. Own the business daily

Qualifications :

  • A University Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent relevant experience is required
  • Ideally 3-5 years of Account Management experience in a CPG environment
  • Extensive analytical skills, strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong technical skills: SAP, Cognos, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access) and ability to quickly learn other proprietary systems
  • Results-driven with a sense of urgency and bias for action
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; demonstrated ability to cultivate strong business relationships
  • Big picture thinking to identify areas for growth and create joint value
  • Proven leadership, analytical, and strategic thinking abilities
  • OTC category experience is a definite asset
