Job Title : Business Development Manager

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

  1. Identify and prioritize target markets, segments, and potential customers within the warehouse robotics, oil & gas, agricultural, and electrical vehicle battery manufacturing market segments, as well as other highly engineered custom product sectors.
  2. Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to achieve bookings and sales targets.
  3. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customer decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders.
  4. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including commercial, engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure alignment with customer requirements and specifications.
  5. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay on top of industry trends and developments.
  6. Be a customer advocate to promote opportunities that strengthen the company's position with customers.
  7. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and negotiate contracts to secure new business opportunities.

Additional Activities:

  • Actively participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking forums to promote company visibility and brand awareness.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, pipeline development, and market insights to peers, the company's team, and senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with internal functions to support product design, production, delivery, and support of products.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management with a focus on industrial rubber solutions and products.
  • Deep understanding of industry dynamics, market trends, and regulatory requirements in key target markets such as warehouse robotics, oil & gas, agricultural, and electrical vehicle battery manufacturing.
  • Successful track record of closing complex sales deals and achieving revenue targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a proactive, results-driven approach.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and relevant business tools.
  • Ability to analyze data in Excel and review, modify PowerPoint presentations for executive leadership and customers.
