Job summary

Colsafety in Canada (HQ in Burlington, ON) seeks a Business Development Manager to drive sales growth across eight facilities in the US and Canada. The role emphasizes customer experience, strategic collaboration with Marketing, and achieving quarterly and annual profitability goals.

You will travel up to 10% and build relationships with clients and influencers while expanding opportunities in the existing portfolio. A proactive, results-driven professional will thrive here.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service, by learning our products, to provide additional support to clients via phone, email, and in-person interactions
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally while maintaining accurate and detailed customer records in our CRM system
  • Work with the VP of Sales to create and execute a growth strategy for quarterly and annual sales and profitability goals
  • Develop a solid understanding of the characteristics and trends of all markets represented by our clients
  • Develop quality relationships with industry influencers, potential new clients, and existing clients as appropriate, including via phone, online, and in-person
  • Identify and grow opportunities within the existing client portfolio
  • Travel as needed to meet with existing and potential clients, for tradeshow and industry events, and for internal GME events, as necessary (estimated travel up to 10%)
  • Partner with Marketing and other business functions to enable Sales discussions, driving the growth of current and new clients

Key Responsibilities

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
