Job summary

Robson Forensic, Inc. seeks a results-driven Business Development Associate to grow our client base and deepen relationships across professional services. You will work with clients to understand their needs, articulate our technical offerings, and convert opportunities into ongoing engagements.

This hybrid, Lancaster, PA role offers training, a supportive expert team, travel within your territory, and a competitive base salary with commission plus full benefits and PTO.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience: 3 years of business development/sales experience in the professional services market.
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office & CRM software (Oracle/NetSuite is a plus).
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, client relations, attention to detail, follow-through, and follow-up skills.
  • Work Style: Independent and collaborative, multi-task, adapt to changing priorities with integrity.
  • Travel: Events and meetings beyond client offices.
  • Other: Background screen, driver’s license, and ability to drive.

Responsibilities

  • Strengthen relationships and grow business with repeat and new clients.
  • Schedule and conduct meetings with clients in their offices to develop business.
  • Attend and participate in conferences and networking events.
  • Coordinate partnerships to host speaking presentations that showcase our services.
  • Manage sponsorships with professional organizations within your sales territory.
  • Field, manage, and follow up on incoming leads and inquiries.
  • Manage, track, and report engagement activities and results.
  • Work with local and national experts to develop and execute engagement strategies.
  • Stay current with developments in the legal industry and identify new opportunities.
  • Perform other related duties.

Robson Forensic, a longstanding national forensic expert firm with an excellent reputation in the legal and scientific community, is looking for a Business Development Associate like you.

The role:

Business Development Associates (BDA) serve as the interface between our clients and our in-house technical experts. BDAs work directly with clients to understand the strategy and technical demand of a specific client and provide guidance on which of our technical investigation or testifying services offer the best solution.

BDAs focus on fostering existing client relationships and cultivating new client relationships. A successful BDA will require attention to detail and quality time management to manage and maintain client accounts. They will enjoy flexibility and the opportunity to travel and grow new accounts within their region. The BDA will leverage company-sponsored conferences, client meetings and other in-person and virtual events to develop new client relationships.

The ideal candidate has impeccable communication skills and is motivated and self-driven to learn. A successful BDA will understand the language and needs of our clients, develop a functional understanding of the firm’s many technical offerings, and appreciate how each discipline is strategically dispatched to benefit our clients. Immediate training and support are provided alongside an exceptional business development and expert team to collaborate with and learn from. The company offers a competitive base salary commission and full benefits including PTO.
