Experior Financial Group Inc. is looking for a highly motivated Business Development Associate to work with the CEO, who excels in dynamic, fast-paced environments and has a passion for supporting senior leadership. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a trusted partner to the CEO, providing strategic support in operational coordination and ensuring seamless daily operations. As a Business Development Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting the CEO by managing a diverse array of tasks, including calendar management, communication, and coordination of key projects. You will assist in driving strategic initiatives, providing invaluable support to ensure seamless operations and decision-making.

Responsibilities:
  1. Act as the Business Development Associate to the CEO, attending meetings, taking notes, providing actionable recommendations, and communicating updates to the senior leadership team such as the President/COO and Vice President of Operations.
  2. Take ownership and complete tasks for and on behalf of the CEO.
  3. Organize, prioritize, and streamline workflow for the CEO, ensuring that projects are managed efficiently, and deadlines are met.
  4. Aid with market research and data analysis, offering insights to the CEO and leadership team for strategic decision-making.
  5. Prepare detailed reports and dashboards to present complex data in a clear, concise, and visually accessible manner.
  6. Ensure all critical documents and information are organized both physically and digitally with high confidentiality.
  7. Help with the implementation of key strategic initiatives to improve overall business performance and operations.
  8. Handle confidential matters with discretion and a high degree of professionalism.
  9. Manage scheduling and coordinate various tasks for the CEO, including travel arrangements, preparation for meetings, and organization of relevant documents.
  10. Travelling internationally will be required up to 1 week per month to support the CEO’s meetings, client interactions, or business opportunities.
Qualifications:
  1. Experience in the life insurance industry at a carrier or MGA level is required.
  2. Understanding of MGA compensation or commissions structuring is an asset.
  3. Previous experience in a similar role, particularly supporting senior executives, is a strong asset.
  4. Exceptional initiative and independent problem-solving skills to be able to find answers with minimal direction or training.
  5. Superior time management and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks while managing deadlines effectively.
  6. Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to communicate complex information clearly.
  7. Discretion and professionalism in dealing with sensitive matters and executive communications.
  8. Highly reliable, attention to detail, proactive, and capable of working independently.
  9. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new tools quickly.
  10. Must have a valid passport and be willing to travel internationally as required.
  11. Must reside in Canada and be legally authorized to work in the country.

Salary Range - $75,000 - $90,000 CAD per year.

The compensation range reflects a data-driven estimate of starting base pay for full-time (40 hours per week) employment. Individual pay may vary based on geographic location, job-related skills, knowledge, experience, education etc.
