  • Update accounting and operational databases with client cashflows and reconcile data discrepancies across systems.
  • Verify premium, allowance, and tax calculations using reconciled and controlled data sets for assumed policies.
  • Support the maintenance of a strong operational control environment.

Technical Development

  • Develop and maintain ETL scripts for data acquisition, transformation, and controlled loading into operational databases.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries, VBA code, and macros to administer, validate, and analyze structured data for operational and audit purposes.
  • Adhere to IT controls, change-management protocols, and security standards.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Communicate with clients regarding data transmission requirements, validation issues, and discrepancy resolution.
  • Liaise with internal teams to support audits, retrocession business, and reporting.
  • Support stakeholders with data extracts, validations, and discrepancy resolution related to administered data sets.

Project Support & Quality Assurance

  • Contribute to data and process enhancement initiatives, including testing and documentation.
  • Participate in client audits by supporting audit-related data validation and reconciliation.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance data quality, efficiency, and control effectiveness.

About You

  • Knowledge of re/insurance principles
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python and Microsoft Office; VBA preferred.
  • Familiarity with audit and quality assurance principles.
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills.
  • Basic French is an asset.
  • You are a detail-oriented, analytical thinker with a passion for solving complex problems. You bring intellectual curiosity, professional integrity, and a collaborative mindset to everything you do. Your ability to communicate effectively and think creatively makes you a valuable partner across teams.
  • Entry-level to mid-level position with hands-on experience in data administration, data validation, or database-driven environments.
  • Degree in Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or related STEM field.
  • Any LOMA designations
