Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking a Business Analyst, Workforce Strategy to lead advanced labour analytics, forecasting, and performance reporting. The role involves serving as a power user for UKG Workforce Management, designing dashboards, and translating data into actionable recommendations for operations and leaders.

You will also mentor analysts and establish best practices for reporting and data integrity across the organization, contributing to workforce optimization and strategic decision

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in workforce analytics, labour optimization, or operations/financial analysis.
• Hands-on experience with ERP Workforce Management systems, UKG Workforce Management preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills; Power BI or similar BI tools preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder partnership skills.

• Advanced Labour Analytics: Lead complex analyses of labour cost drivers, overtime trends, absenteeism, and productivity.
• UKG Reporting & Optimization: Design and maintain advanced reports, dashboards, and analytics within UKG and BI tools.
• Executive & Operational Support: Prepare executive-ready dashboards, presentations, and insight summaries.
• Analyst Mentorship & Quality Oversight: Provide guidance and quality review for Business Analyst outputs.

Job description

The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $90,000. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may be entitled to other elements of total compensation, which may include group benefits, employer RRSP contributions, and discretionary bonus or incentive programs, where applicable to the role. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and comply with all applicable pay transparency legislation. Further details regarding our total rewards program will be shared by the Talent Acquisition team during the hiring process. Canadian work experience is not a requirement for this role.
