We have partnered with a Canadian-based marketing agency that is part of an independent Network of Agencies strategically located across the world to provide global reach and capabilities, seeking an experienced Business Analyst Manager.

Reporting to the Head of Business Analysis, the Business Analyst Manager will play a pivotal role in driving strategic business analysis initiatives, leading a team of Senior and Junior Business Analysts, and ensuring high-quality analytical deliverables. This role involves overseeing business analysis activities across multiple projects, facilitating collaboration between stakeholders, clients, and technical teams, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

The Business Analyst Manager will provide expert guidance on best practices, champion knowledge transfer, and support business transformation efforts. They will serve as a bridge between business and technology, ensuring solutions address operational, financial, and technological challenges while enhancing business performance. Additionally, they will work closely with the Head of Business Analysis to resolve project and team challenges, focusing on outcomes, value, user experience, and informed decision-making to deliver the best results for clients and teams.

Responsibilities

1. Leadership & Team Management:
   • Lead and mentor a team of Senior and Junior Business Analysts, fostering professional growth and knowledge transfer.
   • Develop structured knowledge sharing practices to enhance team expertise.
   • Supervise analysis quality, ensuring accuracy and alignment with goals.
   • Identify and resolve team challenges, escalating issues when necessary.
   • Align analysis activities with organizational objectives in collaboration with leadership.
2. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
   • Serve as liaison between business units, IT, project teams, and clients, ensuring clarity and alignment.
   • Manage stakeholder expectations, negotiate priorities, and facilitate decision-making.
   • Lead discussions, workshops, and meetings to gather and refine requirements.
   • Present findings and recommendations to leadership and clients clearly.
3. Strategic & Operational Analysis:
   • Provide best practice analysis services, partnering with subject matter experts as needed.
   • Lead analysis, design, documentation, and process improvement efforts.
   • Support leadership by collaborating, articulating ideas, and driving project resolution.
4. Reporting & Communication:
   • Manage customer relationships and expectations, maintaining communication on project results.
   • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices.
   • Identify and resolve project issues proactively.
   • Champion industry standards and drive automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in business analysis with successful project delivery across functions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage and mentor teams, fostering development and accountability.
• Expertise in analysis frameworks, methodologies, and project delivery (Agile, Waterfall, Iterative).
• Proven experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
• High-quality documentation and reporting skills.
• Intermediate-level business analysis qualifications (e.g., IIBA or equivalent).
• Additional qualifications like PMP, CSPO, or Lean Six Sigma are advantageous.
• Knowledge of automation technologies and technical infrastructure interfacing.
