Job description

Our client in the gaming industry is seeking a contract-based Senior Business Analyst who will work on large cross-division initiatives such as new products, complex functions impacting multiple teams, and developing large to complex scope business cases.

Duration: 12 months

Location: Hybrid 3 days/week Toronto

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Develops large to complex scope business cases and Acceptance Criteria.
2. Participates in Digital Lab delivering large or cross-divisional initiatives such as new products or significant changes to existing functions that impact multiple products.
3. Develops Acceptance Test Strategy and Approach with consideration for more than one domain; can apply risk-based assessment framework to ensure alignment with test strategy.
4. Conducts oversight, triage, planning, development, and execution of User Acceptance testing.
5. Prepares and presents demos, risks/issues, and remediations to senior leadership.
6. Resolves challenges across lines of business, within the department, and with vendors.
7. Works within a budget typically falling between $1M-$5M impact.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
2. Experience working within Agile teams.
3. Nice to have: experience in the gaming sector.
4. Understanding of agile methodologies and issue tracking/requirements management tools such as Confluence, Kanbanize, JIRA, HP ALM, etc.
