Raise is hiring a Business Analyst - Expert for a top client in Toronto, ON. The role is hybrid with one mandatory in-office day per week and potential for more days. Pay rate is 71.16–82.25 CAD per hour on a 12-month contract with possible extension.

Responsibilities include championing AI/ML initiatives, driving business value and ROI, and delivering analytics-driven insights across engagements. Strong credit card industry experience and Agile collaboration are required.

Competenze

• 8+ years of Business Analyst experience.
• 3+ years of Product knowledge.
• 3+ years in a consultative role focusing on data analysis.
• Experience in Credit Card industry (Banking or credit card).
• Experience manipulating and synthesizing large volumes of complex information from multiple sources.

We at Raise are hiring an Business Analyst - Expert for one of our top clients. After establishing themselves as an industry leader, they’re now expanding their team to meet rising demand. We’re hiring right now;

• Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid (Currently one mandatory in-office day per week (Thursday), plus one Friday per month. There is potential for the requirement to increase to two in-office days per week, including a designated squad day)
• Pay Rate: $71.16/hr - $82.25/hr
• Contract Length: 12 Months with possibility for extension

Responsibilities:

• Innovation & Value Realization – Champion a culture of innovation by identifying and implementing transformative AI and machine learning solutions that deliver measurable business value. Proactively seek opportunities to leverage emerging technologies to create competitive advantages, optimize client experiences, and drive revenue growth. Translate complex analytical initiatives into quantifiable business outcomes, demonstrating clear ROI and value realization across all engagements.
• Consultant – Be a leader and subject matter expert in Credit Cards. Integrate deep domain knowledge with analytical capabilities to deliver value to stakeholders, enable data-driven decision-making, and proactively identify opportunities to drive business growth through projects and business cases, acquisition and retention campaigns, pricing, channels, segments, products, and process enhancements.
• Analytics – Independently identify and leverage the right statistical techniques, including descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics, to extract actionable insights from client behaviours and business trends, both internal and external. Apply advanced machine learning algorithms and AI-driven methodologies to uncover hidden patterns and predict future trends with precision. Appropriately integrate big data, business intelligence, visualization, self-service, and analytical tools into engagements. Proactively explore new applications of advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning to innovate and build strategic analytics assets that create sustainable competitive advantages.
• Technology – Leverage big data and analytical tools to analyze large structured and unstructured datasets, build data pipelines, and create visualizations from multiple data sources. Implement and deploy machine learning models and AI solutions using modern MLOps practices, ensuring scalability, reliability, and continuous improvement of analytical assets.
• Ownership – Orchestrate end-to-end delivery of solutions that meet stakeholder requirements and contribute to business success. Think and act like an owner in analytics initiatives, ensuring business needs are properly identified and translated into analytics requirements while maintaining a relentless focus on value creation and measurable business impact.
• Communication – Find the story in the data and communicate at varying levels of detail for the right audience. Articulate the business value and innovation potential of AI and machine learning initiatives to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, building enthusiasm and support for transformative change.

Must have Requirements:

• Business Analyst experience - 8 years
• Product Knowledge - 3 years
• Experience in a consultative role focusing on data analysis - 3 years
• Previous experience in the Credit Card business (Banking or credit card industry)
• Experience manipulating and synthesizing large volumes of complex information from multiple sources.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling and statistical analysis techniques.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience working on an Agile team.
• SQL experience / Python Experience
