Responsibilities
- Requirements Management
- Understand all requirements associated with a new EPIC or Initiative.
- Work with Product Manager / Owner and Sr Developers / Leads on documenting requirements associated with a particular initiative or EPIC.
- Develop and maintain functional specifications or “How to Use This Feature” documentation (when appropriate).
- Manage and lead the requirements gathering sessions.
- Ticket Development & Refinement
- Create and refine detailed User Stories consistent with the High Level Requirements noted in the associated EPIC.
- Refine Stories as needed so that they have the required details to be actioned by the full scrum team.
- Elicit and document ticket dependencies, ensuring that information is tagged correctly and captured in the Dependency Huddle board.
- Ensure all stories meet the agreed “Definition of Ready” before being taken into sprint planning sessions.
- Note: for Critical tickets brought in mid-sprint, analyze and refine tickets to mitigate risk of issues.
- Contribute to work estimates as appropriate to ensure effective sprint planning.
- Maintain a “healthy” backlog aligned with targets for 2 sprints ahead.
- Manage and lead the ticket refinement process.
- Partnering with Third Party Teams (internal / external)
- Facilitate necessary conversations with external teams, ensuring tickets are created to address requirements.
- Facilitate meetings with third parties to ensure work progresses to meet EPIC or project timelines.
- Ensure cross-team collaboration and escalate blockers as needed.
- Close out post-go-live issues as per prioritization.
- Process Improvement
- Support continuous process improvement and experimentation.
- Ensure consistency with lulu’s INTL practices.
- Lead or contribute to Process Improvement activities.
- Share lessons learned with peer Business Analysts.
- Review Test plans to ensure acceptance criteria are linked to requirements.
- Operations Support
- Update third-party info on scheduled maintenance/outages and contact details.
- Quarterly Planning
- Review and analyze EPIC requirements for solution and stakeholder needs.
- Coordinate with UX, Engineering, and external teams to determine dependencies and risks.
- Communicate findings and support updating EPICs and user stories.
- Assist in creating external team requests and clarify assumptions with stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Retail Experience - preferably lower funnel (checkout, order management, fulfillment).
- At least 2+ years in digital retail industry.
- Experience with Cart, Checkout, Order Management, Fulfillment, especially in integrations.
- Ability to facilitate refinement sessions and review requirements.
- Proven ticket writing skills for multi-stack scrum teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience working with Product Managers.
- Openness to hybrid agile/waterfall methodologies.
