Our Client is seeking an Intermediate Business Analyst for a 10-month contract based in Toronto, working 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. This role focuses on supporting cloud-native solutions and customizations in Dynamics 365, driving process re-engineering, options analysis, and comprehensive business documentation.

Responsibilities

1. Lead end-to-end business analysis for assigned projects and support ongoing improvements
2. Gather and document functional/non-functional requirements, process flows, and business rules
3. Facilitate workshops, interviews, and JAD sessions with diverse stakeholders
4. Develop use cases, system diagrams, context diagrams, and integration specs
5. Write business cases, feasibility studies, and perform cost-benefit analysis
6. Support procurement activities, including RFP preparation and vendor evaluations
7. Recommend re-engineering opportunities through process analysis and modeling
8. Establish traceability matrices and performance measures for requirement validation

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience leading business analysis for technology projects
• Proficiency in creating use cases, process models, and integration diagrams
• Hands-on experience with custom cloud-native development and Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Strong skills in writing business cases, options analysis, and feasibility reports
• Proven experience with SDLC, UI design principles, and stakeholder engagement
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience with CASE tools for requirements documentation
• Knowledge of AODA accessibility standards
• Familiarity with performance metrics and evaluation frameworks
• Experience in business process mapping and modeling techniques (e.g., BPMN)
