Job description

We are looking for an Intermediate to Senior Business Analyst for a 6-month contract position, with possible extensions in Calgary, Alberta. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

This is a hybrid position with a requirement to work in-person at the office. 3 days onsite, 2 days remote for one week; alternate week is 2 days onsite, 3 days remote for a total of 5 days onsite over a two-week period.

Role Description

The successful candidate will assist in implementing a new, improved Student Information System (SIS) and retiring a current legacy application.

Required Skills and Experience

• MS Visio
• Experienced business process mapping
• Review system prototypes with business and technical teams
• Gathering reporting requirementsAnalyzing and reviewing existing legacy reports for input to new system report builds
• Strong communication skills – written and verbal
• SQL Skills is an asset
• Ability to work through systems prototyping and help define process and requirements from the prototyping
• Understanding application roles & permissions
• Ability to multi-task
• Flexible for taking on tasks to support the project team – example Quality Assurance testing assistance where needed
