Job summary

Scotiabank is seeking a Business Advisor in Toronto, ON to manage a portfolio of high-value business-owner relationships and deliver tailored financial guidance. You will build a strong local presence within the business community and collaborate with colleagues to ensure a customer-centric service journey.

You’ll apply knowledge of business banking products, risk considerations, and financial statements to drive retention and growth.

Qualifications

Knowledge of the business banking market, products and services, and risk management policies.
Strong business development techniques and understanding of business life cycles.
Good organizational skills and adaptability to change.
Excellent relationship builder and communicator; collaborates well with others.
Education in business or equivalent experience; valid driver’s license and vehicle access.
Ability to serve English-speaking clientele (bilingual may be an asset in QC contexts).

Responsibilities

Manage an assigned portfolio of high value and/or complex business owner relationships.
Develop relationships within the local business community and with centres of influence.
Provide comprehensive advice to help clients build successful businesses.
Partner with fellow advisors to deliver a customer-centric banking experience.
