Job summary

Borealis Fuels & Logistics is seeking an organized delivery driver to handle LPG fuel deliveries and assist with new tank installations. The role emphasizes customer service and safe operation of bulk trucks in Central Alberta.

The candidate should be physically able to handle routine lifting and climbing during daily routes. The successful applicant will operate the bulk truck, manage the on-board computer system, and support the installation of new Borealis tanks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Class 1 or 3 driver’s license with Air Brake endorsement.
• Crane truck experience is an asset.
• TDG training to be provided by Borealis.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Summary

This position will be vital to the business's day-to-day and long-term goals. The individual must be highly motivated and able to work in a flexible environment. This position will mainly be responsible for fuel deliveries and also helping with new tank installations. Customer service is emphasized here, as this is a key role for Borealis.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Support Borealis’ vision for LPG service excellence in Central Alberta


• Operate the bulk truck for fuel deliveries, which includes:
  
  
  
  • climbing in and out of the truck safely multiple times per day (up to 30 or more);
  
  
  • pulling the delivery hose to tanks up to 150 feet away in snow, up and down hills if required;
  
  
  • lifting and installing heavy-duty tire chains (approx. 60 lbs) if required in the winter;
  
  
  • interface with MOGO in the bulk truck;
  
  
  • Facilitate orders through the on-board truck computer system
  
  
  
  


• Assist in the installation of new Borealis tanks when required and operate the crane truck, which includes:
  
  
  
  • climbing on the crane truck deck to install and remove rigging;
  
  
  • safely operate the crane (experience and training may be required)
  
  
  
  


• Evacuate the fuel in competitor tanks (customer-owned fuel) and return tanks to competitors' yards when required;
  

Education/Experience

• Minimum High School Diploma


• Class 1 or 3 driver's licence with Air Brake endorsement


• Crane truck experience is an asset.


• Bulk handling, bottle fill PTI-recognized courses (Borealis will provide training), Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG)
