Position: Bulk Plant Supervisor

Location: Grande Prairie, Alberta

Status: Permanent, full-time

We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, autonomous, and team-oriented individual to lead our operations team in Grande Prairie, Alberta, as a Bulk Plant Supervisor. This role involves leading all site operations and employees at our Clairmont facility, primarily handling bulk methanol for customers in the Oil and Gas sector. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will oversee receiving and shipping commodities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead operations planning, scheduling, and prioritization at the site.
• Monitor and improve site efficiency continuously.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality customer service.
• Mentor and train operations staff, providing regular feedback and development opportunities.
• Assist with capital projects and perform routine site operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping of stock items.
• Manage railcar unloading and bulk liquid loading, including dangerous goods handling.
• Lead safety programs in collaboration with national and regional teams (TDG, WHMIS, ISO, Responsible Distribution).
• Support maintenance activities for site equipment and assist with boiler operation as needed.
• Operate forklifts with valid certification.
• Process related paperwork such as warehouse releases, bills of lading, and certificates of analysis.
• Ensure accurate inventory management through regular physical counts and communication with logistics, customer service, and procurement teams.

Qualifications and Skills:

• At least 5 years of experience in warehouses or manufacturing, specifically with bulk chemicals.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage teams and partners.
• Strong relationship-building skills with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Experience promoting a safe work environment and knowledge of safety protocols (WHMIS, TDG).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good physical condition, able to lift and work outdoors.
• Team spirit, motivation, and resilience under pressure.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Valid forklift license and ability to wear PPE, including cartridge masks.
• 5th Class Power Engineering certification is an asset but not required.

The annual base salary ranges from $71,600 to $111,900, with additional incentives and benefits, based on experience and qualifications.
