Job summary

Natural Factors in the Okanagan region seeks a mechanically inclined Manufacturing Supervisor to lead Bulk Packaging on the night shift. You will coach and develop a night crew, maintain safety and quality, and drive continuous improvement.

This role collaborates with cross-functional operations leaders in a fast-paced environment and reports to the operations leadership. A strong candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing and 2+ years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, operations management, or supply chain management.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or people leadership experience.
• Minimum 1 year of night shift work experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop employees.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily Bulk Packaging operations on the night shift.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and production standards.
• Coordinate staffing, workflow priorities, and resource allocation.
• Coach, develop, and support team members to achieve performance objectives.
• Ensure employees receive appropriate training and ongoing development.
• Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and operational leaders to achieve department goals.
• Support and maintain compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

Position Summary

The Supervisor, Manufacturing is responsible for directing, supervising, prioritizing, and coordinating all Bulk Packaging activities on their assigned shift to ensure quality standards are maintained while maximizing productivity. This role leads team success by providing coaching, training, support, and motivation while driving continuous improvement initiatives across operations.
