Job summary

The Building Services Manager at University of British Columbia is responsible for directing interior and exterior custodial and housekeeping services across Student Housing and Community Services. Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum of four years experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Fluent in English, with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Determine custodial and housekeeping requirements in consultation with Residence Life and SHCS staff.
• Develop schedules to manage labour costs while maintaining service standards; inspect facilities regularly.
• Oversee asset maintenance; supervise inspectors; address service concerns promptly.
