This is a permanent, full-time position with varied shifts, including day, evening, weekend, early morning and morning. The successful candidate will perform building upkeep, basic repairs, safety checks, and general maintenance in a hotel setting.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs.
• Operate industrial vacuums to remove debris.
• Make minor repairs to heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical systems; coordinate major repairs.
• Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance.
• Perform minor appliance repairs as needed.
• Conduct safety and security checks.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
• Perform routine maintenance like painting and drywall repair.
• Clear snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
• Inspect, lubricate, refuel, and clean equipment.

• The candidate must be able to use industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other waste.
• The candidate will be required to make minor adjustments and repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, as well as contact tradespeople for major repairs.
• The candidate will be responsible for contacting contractors for establishment repairs and maintenance.
• The candidate will be expected to perform minor appliance repairs.
• The candidate will be expected to conduct safety and security checks.
• The candidate must move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
• The candidate will be required to perform other routine maintenance tasks such as painting and drywall repair.
