Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks for hotel and pool facilities.
• Maintain pool cleanliness and perform pool tests and filter maintenance.
• Repair fixtures and toilets and patch drywall as needed.
• Change light bulbs and steam clean carpets; replace taps, thermostats, and filters.
• Inspect major equipment like hot water heaters and perform routine upkeep.

The Days Inn Warman is looking to fill our Full Time Maintenance Position. This position is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of our 74 room hotel and pool facility. This position reports to the General Manager & the Housekeeping Supervisors.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Performing general grounds including shoveling snow and spring/summer grounds keeping
• Maintaining pool cleanliness and performing pool tests and filter maintenance
• Repairing items such as toilets and small drywall patching
• Performing routine maintenance such as changing out light bulbs, steam cleaning carpets
• Replacing fixtures such as sink taps or thermostats
• Replacing filters and checking on major equipment like hot water heaters

Physical Requirements

This position requires an extensive level of physical exertion; frequent walking, bending, climbing, kneeling, extending reach, pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying of up to 50+ pounds to complete assigned tasks. A considerable intensity of sensory effort is required.
