Building Maintenance Worker

Location: 80 THE EAST MALL, Etobicoke, ON M8Z 5X1

Salary: $22.00 per hour, 40 hours per week

Terms of employment: Permanent, full-time, immediate start, 1 vacancy

Responsibilities

1. Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems; contact tradespersons for major repairs.
2. Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
3. Perform minor repairs on appliances.
4. Perform safety and security checks.
5. Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
6. Perform routine maintenance such as painting and drywall repair.

Qualifications

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
• Language: English.
• Work must be completed on-site; remote work not available.
