Job summary

Triumph Group of Companies, via PrimeFab - PrimeSteel Division, seeks an Estimator to prepare cost estimates for building envelope projects, review drawings, and coordinate with production and sales teams in the Greater Toronto Area.

Candidate will perform detailed quantity take-offs, develop labour and material costs, and ensure timely, competitive bids across panelized systems and façade finishes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of estimating experience in building envelope or offsite/panelized construction.
• Ability to perform detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specs.
• Knowledge of panel/facade systems and installation methods.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings and tender docs to understand scope and finish requirements.
• Prepare cost estimates for panelized and curtain wall projects including labour, materials, and subcontractors.
• Perform quantity take-offs for panels, insulation, and finish systems.
• Develop labour and production cost estimates for factory and field work.
• Coordinate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive bids.
• Identify risks and communicate findings to leadership and production teams.
• Prepare bid submissions with cost breakdowns and clarifications.
• Support pursuits with pricing strategy and RFP responses.
• Ensure estimates align with manufacturing capability and installation methods.
