Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Worker Awareness Certificate.
• Previous cleaning experience required.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to plan and organize job tasks effectively.
• Strong customer service skills and a professional, friendly demeanour.
• Demonstrated integrity and the ability to respect confidentiality and privacy.
• Ability to follow cleaning procedures and safety standards, including safe handling of cleaning products.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and wash floors
• Dust furniture and surfaces
• Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers
• Wash windows, walls, and ceilings
• Clean building units while respecting tenants’ space and belongings
• Communicate courteously with tenants and staff, and respond to cleaning requests or concerns promptly
• Maintain the confidentiality of any tenant information, documents, or property encountered while working in units
• Report any maintenance, safety, or security concerns to the appropriate supervisor
• Other duties as assigned
